When you were a kid did you ever own one of those ballpoint pens with multiple ink colors that could be selected by pressing down on a lever to lock a particular ink color cartridge into place? Or one of those fat mulit-color pens that had a clear cartridge so you could see the many color ink barrels inside?
Well then the ‘Color Picker Pen’, which enables colors in the environment to be scanned and instantly used for drawing is the high-tech pen you’ve been waiting for.
‘Korean designer Jinsu Park designed a concept pen that adopts the Eyedropper Tool of Photoshop for real life. The sensor detects the color and matches it to the color display. Then the RGB cartridge located within the pen mixes the inks together to create the color that has been scanned.’
