Have you heard? The buzz is spreading! Color Marketing Group (CMG) is making bold, exciting steps in 2012 to make your color experience better AND more economical! On top of that, 2012 is CMG’s 50th anniversary! So it’s a year of celebration and growth!
CMG has four international meetings; Asia/Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the North American Summit. They were all brought together during CMG’s International summit last month in San Antonio with the sharing of their results and the unveiling of the World Palette. In addition, the outcomes of the first ChromaZones were presented and they have proven to be an important new element to Color Marketing Group.
Starting in 2012, in addition to the 4 international meetings, ChromaZone Workshops will be held around North America and Canada, and these will become your new Color Workshops! The results of these workshops will create the North American palette and will be revealed during the International North American Summit later in 2012! Then, the North American palette will join the other international palettes to become the World Palette.
Here is what you gain with the ChromaZones:
Full day workshops invigorate your color sense!
Many workshops will include a local speaker.
Enjoy continued “color experience” throughout the year.
Regional locations allow for easy-in, easy-out participation, often in one day!
The ease and economy of local travel. (if you choose to stay local)
Timing with major exhibitions, so if you’re already at a show, you can more easily attend a workshop while you’re there.
The workshops may be local, but the participants are often national, sometimes international! You’ll still be getting a broad view of color and design.
Plus, you can attend as many ChromaZones as you wish! Or if you’re traveling, attend one “on the road.” Going to NeoCon in Chicago? There will be a ChromaZone there! Heading to ICFF in New York? ChromaZone is there, too!
We have identified regions of the continent for which travel is relatively easy, especially if you want to “try out” a different area. The dates and exact locations are still being planned but the announcements will be made soon!
So what happens to the old workshops? Essentially nothing. ChromaZones ARE the new workshops, they’re just going to be spread around North America offering you myriad opportunities to share and learn about color and design.
And if you should miss the workshops throughout the year? Well, we have that covered. An optional ChromaZone “Last Minute” will be scheduled the day before the North American summit so your color voice can be heard! The results of that workshop will be included in steering for the North American palette. But you won’t want to wait! As soon as the dates are announced I’m thinking you’ll be ready to join in the color experience!
We will be sharing more of the exciting, relevant, motivational, inspirational changes to come. Be a part of Color Marketing Group, as color and design evolves so are we. Be a part of the evolution! Be a part of CMG!
