CMG’s first 2012 ChromaZone event will be held in Denver, Colorado, Friday March 2nd – more details
ChromaZones are results oriented color meetings, comprising a color workshop and local guests presenting myriad subjects from design to marketing to business. It is fast paced and energetic. Attendees will present and discuss their colors and stories and as the day progresses, the colors will be narrowed to a final palette. ChromaZone palettes will be available in digital format with notations so that you can work on them immediately.
You do NOT need to be a member of CMG to register and participate.
Color Marketing Group is delighted to confirm that Luana Rubin, President and co-owner of eQuilter.com is the guest speaker at CMG’s first 2012 ChromaZone event.
Luana has worked in the fashion and textile design industries for over 30 years, in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, New York, and now Boulder Colorado. While living in Hong Kong, she was an import designer working in 10 Asian countries, and hundreds of factories. eQuilter has over 1000 new products per month, which are featured along with trends and creative inspiration in a bi-weekly e-newsletter, which goes out to 120,000 subscribers.
Luana is the keynote trend presenter at the annual Fall International Textile Expo in Las Vegas, and was the keynote speaker at the 2011 SAQA annual conference. (Studio Art Quilt Associates) She is a licensed designer for Robert Kaufman Fabrics and YLI Threads, and is a Bernina National Teacher.
She received the Michael Kile Award – a lifetime achievement award from the quilt industry – in 2008. eQuilter has raised $950,000 for international charities, collected and delivered 2155 quilts to tsunami survivors in Japan, and sponsors international quilt exhibits in Europe, the US and Asia.
