Need to understand the Millenials? Pernille Kok-Jensen takes you on a journey to understand the younger generation. Kok-Jensen dares you to join her for a deep dive dedicated to understanding the spirit of youth and the new ball game that the young creative forefront has created. Her presentation sheds light on some of the characteristics that the young, creative forefront of today embody, such as: Serendipity Seeking: the rise of a fail harder attitude and how the journey became more important than the destination. The Genuinely Phony: redefining authenticity in a copy-paste culture. Mass Avant-Garde: how the bizarre is becoming the norm and how mingling with the masses is the new way of standing out. Pernille delivers a fast paced and highly visual presentation – offering inspiration and fresh insights into the aspirational mindsets that will impact brands tomorrow.
Pernille Kok-Jensen is the driving force behind the Trends department at qualitative research and trend forecasting agency MARE Research. Last September her book, created together with colleague Els Dragt, was released internationally. “Always be yourself, unless you can be a Unicorn, then always be a Unicorn” is the big name of the little book that provides a candid snapshot of the weird and wonderful world of a Tumblr generation.
Kok-Jensen is one of the presenters at CMG’s 2015 European Conference being held May 20th to 22nd in Krakow, Poland.
